COVID-19 Update

Dear Animal Health Center Clients,

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our hospital will now offer curbside service starting Monday March 23, 2020 until further notice. It is our goal to continue providing quality veterinary medicine while keeping our clients, staff and families safe.

Following CDC guidelines as of March 23rd our waiting area will be temporarily closed to clients. We will still be seeing your pets, but ask that you follow the steps below:

1. Call ahead if possible for an appointment. You may call 601-833-7788 for assistance with all of your pets needs.

2. If you have an appointment please call us from your vehicle when you arrive and one of our friendly staff members will assist in checking your pet in. If you do not have a phone please blow your horn for assistance.

3. Please remain in your vehicle and one of our skilled staff members will be out to pick up your pet.

4. We request all dogs be on a leash or in a carrier and all cats MUST be in a carrier before leaving your car.

5. If your pet is sick a staff member will communicate with you over the phone or come to your vehicle to determine your pets needs.

6. After your pet is examined, you will receive a call to discuss discharge instructions and answer any questions over the phone. Once payment is made, your pet will be brought back to your vehicle.

7. If you need a medication refill or food please call ahead and we will have it ready to deliver to your vehicle. You may pay over the phone at the time of your request to minimize your wait.

8. We accept debit and credit cards and Care Credit. Payments may be made over the phone and your pet or supplies will be delivered to your vehicle. If paying by check or cash these payments will be made at your vehicle.

As always your pet’s health and wellness is a priority. We may ask to delay some elective procedures based on the availability of some medical supplies being in short supply during this pandemic. Please feel free to discuss any concerns you may have regarding your pet’s care. Please call 601-833-7788.

After hour emergency calls will still be provided and the doctor will instruct you on intake protocol at that time.

Thank you for your cooperation during these temporary changes in providing care for your pet while remaining mindful of the safety of our dedicated clients and staff.

May God bless you and keep your families safe.
