Linda Farris, DVM

Dr. Farris was born in Brookhaven, MS to James and Lucille Farris. She has two sons, Logan and Lee, both of whom are in college. She attended Brookhaven Public Schools and graduated from Brookhaven High School. She obtained her Veterinary Technician degree from Hinds Community College then attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College and Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. Dr. Farris opened her private practice in 1987 for small animal and exotic animal medicine. Her special interests include internal medicine, surgery, reproduction, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. Dr. Farris is a pet lover and enjoys trail riding, training her Border Collies and tending her variety of farm animals and wildlife patients.
